Im sure they can install a kit with a wideband for under 1k .
I'm happy to see things have improved

tracey, congrats on the turnaround

7200.00 parts and labor at next level performance Orlando F.l. go for the gusto Mike.
Is that price with new hood painted and installed as well? Is the maggie polished or plain?

BTW, what are the Maggies made out of? Aluminum? I heard they weigh upwards to 80 pounds.....

Nitrous.

Completely safe (when jetted properly to match your fuel system)

Install yourself in a day, or at a shop in a couple hours.

instant HP when you want it, stock when you don't (AKA: Rain)

Removeable in a tiny amount of time for going to the dealer.

And a fraction the price of internal mods, your Z should be able to handle a 150 wet shot without a drop of trouble, you want to be safer, jet for 100HP, or 70, or 55, whatever you want.

And say you're at a track, and the traction is poor that night, take 10 minutes and re-jet down a stage or 2 for more traction...track is hooking like crazy? /Jet up a stage for even more.

IMHO, for quick easy, safe, reliable, and inexpensive HP, Nitrous is still king.
I have a 88 with nitrous diet put a limiter so doesn't kick in till 3000 my motto is you can't have enough HP!!!

Default NOS

Install with a progressive programmer and a window switch and nitrous is as safe as can be. When installed by professionals that know NOS, it is very safe. Mine kicks on at 3500 and starts at 20% up to 100% of 150 shot. Call Greg at Antivenom and let him get with Matt @ BMR. Guys really know their stuff as I had many fears with NOS also. Gained about 150RWHP and almost 175 torque with an A6.

Default Best Bang For the Buck

Well the best bang for the buck would have to be forced induction,Turbos and Superchargers. We tend to see more HP gain with them for the money you cant go wrong with a pro charger. We recently installed a cam, headers, full exhaust, and a pro charger in an 02 ZO6 and made 600 RWHP and 515 RWTQ.

Now for usable street power for me the head and cam is the way to go.You get great sound and the power gain can be from 100 RWHP to 150 RWHP depending on the configuration.

I have done a couple on Nitrous installs and have seen good power gains, but I'm not really big on pushing them just not my thing.

Please check out our different levels of performance upgrades on our web site at
