Convertible Top Care
I recently purchased an '06 Convertible....first convertible I've had in a loooooong time. Anything special I need to know to care for my convert top to keep it nice and protect it?
Any suggestions re specific top care products?
Any info offered will be appreciated.

I used to use a product for the ragtop on my Jeep Wrangler, but for the life of me I can't think of the name of it. Maybe I still have the bottle over in the storage room.
I think what you want is something that will block UV. That is about the worst killer of the fabric. But I am sure most of them will do that as a matter of course.

OK, sorry I can't be more help. I would have gone for a vert in a flash and may well have ended up with one if I hadn't become interested in a Z06. Love the top down, but I do love the feel of the Z.
There are a number of sources of info on convertible top care and products to use. Here are a few:

http://www.autogeek.net/contopcleanp.html
I might have a few more links for you if you don't find what you're looking for ..........Tom

I checked and the stuff I used on the Jeep ragtop is called 303 Protectant. Did a pretty good job for me back then, but I have since fallen way behind on caring for the jeep. Matter of fact, it's a real chore having to check the tire carrier every several days to keep the Carolina wrens from building nests in it.
