Default Is my actuator about done?

Recently I've noticed the driver's side headlight motor or actuator to use the correct name, start acting up occaisionally. I would turn on my lights and sometimes it wouldn't go up until the second or third time I would turn the lights on.

This week, it did it to me a few times but this time it didn't come up at all. I popped the hood and turned it up by hand. I would turn off the lights and it would come back down with no problems. I would immediately turn the lights back on and it would come up but wait a day or two and the cycle would repeat. Today, I cleaned the ground close to it real good with some compressed air and some loosey-goosey and also the contacts for the motor.
I also sprayed a little slide-n-glide around the actuator and turned those puppies on with no problem. I'll see how it goes for the next few days but has anyone already gone through this?

It's nice to see the C5's don't have the stupid plastic bushings in them...I highly recommend the bronze gears as well. They've saved me with my C4.

I'll switch out gears versus a new motor anyday. And, it's cheaper!!!!

So far after I cleaned the contacts and greased the actuator itself, it's been fine. We'll see how long it holds up.
