Yeah, one of the things I found attractive about the C6 Z06 is the aluminum frame and magnesium cradle for weight reduction. Things that would not be easy to change on an older model to get those sorts of benefits. Just adding horsepower without substantial drivetrain and cosmetic improvements just makes it too easy for people to break out the spreadsheet to see how much putting those same improvements on their current generation would cost in comparison to buying a new car.

If GM wants to sell Corvettes, make the new generation something that most people would willingly rape their retirement fund to buy.

The C-6 is a jazzed up C-5 . I see a bad pattern here now a C-7 is
a jazzed up C-6. No, no.no........................................

Yea I like it but I was thinking it looks like a warmed over C6

I thought it was pretty sharp. The 450hp would be nice also. But on the other hand I don't know where you would use it. The cops in Tifton Ga. don't like the current model very well. I know this for fact and $198.00 later.

You were probably "profiled" as being likely able to afford the ticket without wanting to fight it in a court not in your home state....
