My son sent this to me and I thought it was either funny or sad depending on who you are for the driver or the car.
Driver wrecks Corvette in police chase

A 1967 Chevrolet Corvette was wrecked when its driver fled from police through an Eastside neighborhood. After hitting a curb, a tree and a building, the driver got out of the car and ran, and police caught him after using an electric shock device.
Roger Holland, 52, 4800 block of Southeastern Avenue, faces preliminary charges of resisting arrest, failing to stop after an accident and driving with a suspended license. The woman who was riding with Holland was not arrested.

The chase began around 10:14 p.m. Tuesday when police spotted the Corvette speeding north on Sherman Drive from 10th Street. A report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said an officer tried to stop the Corvette at 15th and Sherman, but the car sped on, heading west on 16th Street into the Brookside Park area.
The speeding westbound Corvette missed a turn and hit the curb and spun into the grass on the inside of the street, but the driver sped away, heading east and then south into the streets around Dearborn Street. Coming back onto Brookside Parkway, the Corvette ran through a yard and hit a tree but kept going, despite a flat right rear tire.
The chase reached Massachusetts Avenue where the Corvette hit a building at 1925 E. Massachusetts Ave. That finally stopped the car, but the driver got out and ran. Police chased Holland into an alley on foot and hit him with a Taser, which did not slow him down. Officers finally caught Holland in a back yard after a brief struggle.
Police said Holland’s license to drive had been suspended for life because of multiple violations. The report mentioned no other warrants or reasons for him to run.

Hey, the dude is probably gonna need bail money, so I'll offer him a couple of grand for the Vette "as-is" sight unseen. That is..........provided that HE is authorized to sell it. Fix it up.........part it out........resell it whole........whatever........
