Yeah Rick,I'm back in the home of the nearly dead and severely inbred!!
I'm glad I was able to stay under the Radar,it was a flying low tripp!!
With the currant situation here,I was lucky to go at all!!
I finely just found a Animal setter on my own and blasted off Friday evening about 4:15,Stopped in Douglasville GA at Paul Higgs for a Steak,Goggle Map(My GPS went South ahead of me! )
and to look at his top to tell him what he needed to do!!Left there about 10:10pm and then got Stuck in a Jam on I-75 between Atlanta and Macon for about 1 1/2-2 hrs while they cleaned up a mess,
stopped at a friends house in Dover Fla outside of Tampa for a Half Pot of Coffee about 6:00am
and got to Anna Mari about 9:00 and drove around the Island an hour and a half or so looking for Toms Grouper room Resort!!
Drank a Ice Coffee,Looked at Toms 72 and checked his Alternator for leaking AC voltage, went and washed the bugs off the car and went to the wedding!!
We left the Sandbar Restaurant about 9:30pm and I drove to Vero but not before being run off the road by a Drunken Cowboy from the River Ranch Rodeo out west of YeeHaw Junction!!
Don't worry Yevette is OK other than a little saw-grass hanging from the suspension and a couple scratches on the rockers!! She fared far better than the Ford Expedition that came across my lane and overturned in the ditch!!Finely got to Vero about 2:00 am Crashed on the couch woke up at the usual 5:30-45am and hit the road to Port St Lucie and changed out a set of plugs in a Mercury Sable 3.0 and Made it to Aunt Nancy's Brunch in Jupiter!!!
Left there at about 2:30pm back to PSL and changed out the Anti-Virus in Pats computer,Had a Pot Roast and Fried Green Tomato dinner that couldn't be beat
and hit the road back to NC about Midnight!!Had an hour or so nap at a rest area in SC on I-95 stopped for gas at Landrum SC just across the line on I-26 and was home unloading the car by 10:00am!! Made it 690 miles in less then 8 hrs when you deduct the nap and fill up time!!!
Then I had to look for a Damned cat that got loose with less than 4 hours sleep since Friday morning,
still haven't found it so I'm getting a bunch of flack from that because it was 1 of my Friends that helped me out by coming up here 3 times a day to let the dogs out and feed all the animals!!What a Zoo this place has become!!
