SNOW PLEADS GUILTY, GETS PROBATION
What an absolute joke, he should rot in jail.
According to a May 3 report in the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram, former NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car driver Gene Snow recently pleaded guilty to charges stemming from sexual assault accusations made against him last year by a 17-year-old boy.
Snow, 69, was arrested last September after the boy told Tarrant County (TX) Sheriff's Department investigators that Snow had been molesting him since the fifth grade, had drugged him, and paid him for sexual favors. The Star-Telegram story said Snow, who placed 26th in 2001 on the NHRA's top-50 drivers list, pleaded guilty to injury to a child and accepted three years' probation, according to prosecutor Kimberly D'Avignon. A Fall From Grace !!
What a shame this had to happen. I knew the man personally, having raced against him many times during the 60's and 70's. He was always the perfect gentleman and a very successful businessman (Snow Oil Company). I feel sad that he has let his life come to this, but as a retired LEO, father and grandfather, I hope they throw the key away and he never sees the light of day again.

The one thing that pisses me off more than anything in this world is crimes against children. If you're found guilty, either self confessed or by jury, you should go to jail. No ifs ands or buts. If child molesters are given a second chance, they'll do it again. And what poor child will be the victim next time?

You are absolutely right. There is no cure for pedophilia, no matter what the bleeding heart liberals say !!! This problem is out of control because the perps know that nothing will happen to them. My daughter is a child protection investigator for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and her caseload is unbelievable. There are far more cases of abuse than any of us can imagine. I sure wish we could bring back the "old west" way of justice - HANG EM HIGH & HANG EM QUICK

My idea for this problem is to create "sex offender island" and dump them all there and let them work it out amongst eachother. Pedophiles, rapists, the whole lot of them. Stick them all together on a remote island surrounded by shark infested waters.

Ok, we can add that rule
Also they get no support from the government or our tax money. They just get dropped there and that's it.
