No white Christmas for us....
But it does look like it is going to be a WET Christmas for most of Florida. Bummer.... The wife and I were going to take a ride to see the Christmas decorations, but I guess if we still feel like doing that, we may not take the vette. Not that I mind too much getting the vette wet, but our road is sand, and I'm not real crazy about that sand slush getting thrown around underneath when I drive on the road when it is wet. Matter of fact, when I had the STS install, Greg told me he had to scrape a bunch of sand out of the rocker panel area before he could run the pipes in there.
Oh well...... At least it isn't FREEZING rain......

I agree!
I Know Exactly how ya feel! Same problem here when it rains.
Now, i'm not by any means the kind of Vette owner that thinks their car is going to melt, because it's raining. I do however, hate the fact that I'll get that muddy, sandy Sh*t all up in the drivetrain area though!
Oh well, can't have it ALL!

When I bought the '93 vert. The friend of mine that owned it had always kept it under a cover. The night I test drove it, it was raining. She said it was the first time that she could remember that the car had been out in the rain. I too prefer dry roads. But the Vette sure is better in the rain than the Harley-Davidson that I sold to by the Vette.

I hate driving in the rain or after it's rained. Mainly because I don't like anything messing up the beautiful wash and wax job I did. It's not the rain I mind so much, it's the crap other cars throw up on my car I hate.

The weather's beautiful down here. It stormed this am but the rest of the day was great. I washed the vette and got it covered up. Rich427 and his wife just drove in today, rough trip he said. We're meeting tomorrow for lunch. Should be a nice day tomorrow...and 3 vettes in the parking lot for a little corvette show while we eat.
I walked around the neighborhood tonight. Lot's of homes decorated and it looks really nice. Hope you get a break and can get out to check out the lights up there....

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
I think the weatherman is full of it!!!!!! That's two days so far filled with sunshine.
Screw the white Christmas crap and everyone enjoy a safe and fun green Christmas. And please, keep the 'vettes out on the road today. It's as American as Christmas!

I have learned over the years that the only job where you can make mistakes or be wrong over 50% of the time and keep your job is being a weather forecaster. Talk about job security
If they say rain, I put the top down and go for a ride

The wife and I took Rich Z's idea. We put the top down and went looking at Christmas lights. The night was beautiful. If the weather forecast for tonight is as wrong as it was last night , we will probably go again tonight and check out some other neighborhoods.
