1995 Coolant
Hi, I'm a rookie memberand just brought my first Corvette. 1995 white/red convertible, 14,000 milea. I noticed that my coolant reserve tank was empty and I'm looking for advice on, what knind of coolant the 95's used, green or red?
Any help will be appreciated.

Opps, I put some red in the reserve tank, because my low coolant light came on and it was to hot to open the black tank. When the car was cold I open the upper tank and it was dark red.
Could it be that I had green to begin with or the red from the reserve tank just mixed with the green.
My friend has a 96 and his runs on dex cool (red).
What my best course of action now.

MAINTENANCE
YOU JUST GOT THE CAR DO YOURSELF A FAVOR DUMP ALL THE COOLANT PUT SOME NEW GREEN.ALSO CHANGE YOUR OIL ,AIR FILTERS AND STAR THE CAR WITH YOUR OWN PREVENTIVE MAINTNANCE FROM THE GET GO .THIS WAY YOU KNOW WHAT YOU GOT AND DONE TO IT . A PERSON THAT LETS HIS COOLANT TANK RUN EMPTY IS NOT TAKING GOOD CARE OF HIS RIDE. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR RIDE AND ENJOY IT.

Yes, I know the 93's run on green. I'm just trying to narrow it down to the 95s.
Thanks, that's a great looking car you have there!
