Default What is this?

In the January issue of Corvette Magazine there are pictures of various C5 Vettes on page 75 and 77.

Protruding under the front bumper of each car is a part that resembles an XXXX large hockey puck.

What is this called?

I have looked through the manual and cannot find a reference.

I don't have the mag with me, but possibly the bump stop wheels that are attached to save the frame rail from scraping steep inclines? The piece of the frame that you can see between the front lower air dam and the underside of the front bumper.
