Yeah we had quite the deluge yesterday. Stopped raining before I went to bed around 3:30am. Then Connie wakes me up at 5:15 to let me know that we don't have any water pressure. So I got up and we went to check on it. I thought possibly a tree had fallen across the pump and destroyed it, but turned out to be the start capacitor to the pump had leaked electrolyte and died. So that repair only cost us $30. I was thinking the pump had gone bad and I was going to have to call someone in (on overtime pay over the weekend) to replace the pump. This sort of crap always seems to happen only on weekends. Much like the snowstorms, I guess, eh Andy?

Over 2 inches so far today. That makes 7 1/4 inches so far since friday! And we can't even blame it on a tropical storm.....matter of fact, we've had tropical storms go through and gotten less rain....

Just checked the radar and there appears to be a LOT more rain on the way. At least into Tuesday. I might have to get some conversions done on the vettes in order to get them out of the driveway..

Rats, looks like the overnight temps are going to be dropping down into the mid 30s towards the weekend.

Yeah, I'm looking at the radar right now and it looks like it might very well rain all throughout the night. Probably going to be great for the spring peepers and other amphibians with all the temporary breeding pools.

Got a good solid 14 inches of snow yesterday and last night, and IT AIN'T DONE YET!
It's that heavy, wet snow that makes my poor little 5 HP snow blower puke.
Looks like I'll be out there in the cold, wind, and snow AFTER I finish my coffee!

as well because the miserable street isn't plowed! Just kidding

Yuch!! That is a sight that I hope I NEVER see first hand again in my entire life. I read that there was a substantial hail fall up in parts of Tallahassee a week ago, and that's bad enough. Water needs to remain LIQUID at all times.
