Default CLB question

Hey guys, just bought a 99 6 speed. The steering wheels still locks. So this tells me to install a CLB or else... correct? I bought one from Thunder Racing but it did not come with the cigareette adapter plug thingy. Do i need that??

Just follow the directions that came with it and you'll be fine.

Man, I am glad to hear you say that! I attempted the CLB myself and just gave up. I could touch the connector with my fingertips, but separate it and then install the bypass? Sheesh..... So I raised the white flag and asked Greg at AntiVenom to do it when I had the car in for the STS kit install. Took a bit of ribbing from Greg in my not being able to tackle that simple install............................ But you know what? Greg had trouble with it as well! Matter of fact, he BROKE my CLB trying to install it! So I didn't feel so bad after all after that.... .

CLB=Column Lock Bypass - Basically it's a device you can install to keep your steering column from locking up on you.
