Default Z06 Brakes

Need to replace brakes, any suggestions on what to buy?? (not working much, THINKING about doing them myself)
Should I stick with OEM, or go to Vette Brake Products , or some other after market place ???
Rotors look OK, probably will turn them while apart, car has 27K, I do take it to informal track days.
Suggestions please .

Well you certainly have a lot of options. For just pads, you can't really beat Hawk pads. If you want a whole upgrade, I'd check out wilwood products. Or, if you feel like getting bigger wheels, upgrade to the C6Z06 brakes (requires 18's on the front). No matter what you go with, I'd also swap out your rubber brake lines with stainless lines. Good luck.
