Question Cleaning Exhaust Manifold

Like most Vette owners, I like to keep my Vette as clean as possible and that includes the engine compartment. Does anyone know of a cleaner I can use to get rid of the rust building on the exhaust manifolds?
I have an '06 with close to 3,500 miles.
Thanks.

Heck, that's one of the reasons I put headers on my car. Couldn't see the sense of cast iron manifolds that would rust. Jet Hot coated stainless steel looks MUCH better! Definite BLING! factor here.

I guess anything along the lines of Naval Jelly would remove the rust, but it would just be temporary. You would then need to paint the manifolds with a high temp paint to keep the rust from coming back.

Probably one alternative would be to pull off the headers and send them off to be Jet Hot coated. But heck, if you're going through all that trouble, stainless steel headers would be the better route to take, I think.

For the past 25 years I have used products made by a company called Bill Hirsch, I have used their manifold paint on my 66, my manifolds are cast iron and his product makes them look clean and new without making them look like they have been treated. The paint lasts and lasts. A bit pricy but I would use and recommend their products. I'm sure if you called them or email them they can advise you what product to use for the finish you are looking for. Here is their web address for the manifold paint and from there you can get to their homepage. Hope this helps.
