Default Side pipe rattling - 1966

Pulled out some loose metal pieces from the side pipe after I heard rattling. I dropped the pipe but there is still a piece in there that shifts back and forth. How the heck can I get this out? I tried snaking a hook and yanking it out but it won't clear the crimps in the pipe. I know the rattling will probably be worse now so I really do need to get this out. Any ideas? Thanks
