Island Hop & More - What a Day

Join us Saturday Aug 9 for a Cruise and more.
We will be leaving the Hob Nob in Sarasota at 9:30 AM and taking a short run to the Sarasota Car Museum http://www.sarasotacarmuseum.org:80/
We will then drive out to the Islands; head up through St Armand's Circle over to Longboat Key and across to Anna Maria Island where we will stop for lunch at Rotten Ralph's http://www.rottenralphs.com:80/
After Lunch we will head on over to Joey D's in Bradenton for a Cruise In / Show.
Join us for all or part

Im off that day. I need to see about getting one of my coolers rerouted though, my car isnt much of a city driver. Last cruise i was pegging 250* when we got back onto manatee ave.

Yea, I know what ya mean. When I made that 90 degree turn doing a gazillion MPH my cooler failed too, ice all over. I gotta find a new place for it.
 
Im sure that cooler failure was better then ricky joes :thumbsup: . I gotta go to home depot an price out copper tubing, and with todays market prolly gonna be a arm and both my legs.

Itd be nice to have a city driveable car without my tranny getting hotter then hell. :banghead: :reddevil:

Ill for sure be at the show, cruise not sure. More then likely youll see me there.
 
Ill be spending the next two days swapping tranny cooler locations up at the shop so the car can be more efficient at keeping the tranny cool for in city runs.

Wont stay at the show long, prolly be out by 730/800 for another occasion.
 
Started out in the rain and the cars didn't "Melt" ended up with a great evening. Ken and I got some Gold at Joey D' and Corey, Tim has your Best Of Show Trophy. Good Luck getting it back.

sorry i left early, went to go see some friends who havent seen the car since it rolled out of rev's shop. gave one lucky rider ride of his life. now hes gonna make it a goal to own a corvette, instead of modding his turbo 4 banger for life lol.
 
Really wanted to make this run. I love the island route and the stops sounded great. Had paperwork that had to be done and my buddy that came back last week from Afghanistan was back at Andreh's Insty Tune & Lube last night. Really needed to go say hi and make sure he was ok:thumbsup:

I'll do my best to make the next one. Sounds like a hell of a good time!!:dancer01:
