    0.30" of rain today (Friday). Went to a gem and mineral show at the Tallahassee Fair Grounds even with the threatening rain. Show turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting. Lots of interesting stuff there. If you are in to that kind of thing, of course.

    Yeah, sometimes I think perhaps Connie and I should have moved further south when we left Maryland. But land just was not affordable for the size I wanted. Just not willing to live on a half acre able to hear my neighbors belching and farting.

    I got rain on Wednesday, but no idea how much. I was puzzled because it rained all day long, but the rain gauge stayed at 0.01". Well, I checked the gauge yesterday and found some sort of seed jammed into it, blocking the water flow. Oh well..
