    Date night

    My wife called Date night .She has had three strokes so movies are always a good thing .We saw Jungle Book which we both really enjoyed ,certainly wasn't boring .We go to a local theater called Smitty's which serves awesome food for a reasonable price . Good Movie :thumbsup:

    Race

    Date night so the wife picks what we do .She chose Flat bread pizza (sucked) but the movie "Race " was pretty good .Base on the Jesse Owens story I had planned to have a nap or die of being bored to death .Well written ,good acting so I have to give it two thumbs up .:thumbsup::thumbsup:

    The finest hours

    It was date night with my wife so she wanted to go to Smitty's which has great food and a movie .Her choice was "The finest Hours " which was a good choice .It was about a coast Guard rescue in the early 50's based on a true story .Good movie and I'd recommend it .Very good :thumbsup:

    Walk in the woods

    Based on two retired friends hiking the Appellation trail .Stars Robert Redford and Nick Nolte . Wasn't great but not boring nor that bad .No sex or violence ,no guns or car chases . Note my brother hiked the trail ,he is blind and did it without a dog .

    Service sucked

    Went to twin Peaks in Waco for lunch last Sunday .Service was terrible ,couldn't get the waitresses attention for a second beer :banghead: I won't go back
