Car is located near Tampa, FL and I am asking $36,500 OBO

I am the original owner. My wife and I picked it up at the factory (museum delivery) on December 16 of 2005. In April of 2006, Lou Gigliotti of LG motorsports (Wylie, TX) picked it up in one of his transporters while his team was in Florida participating in the St. Pete Grand Prix. He took it back to his shop and put in the G5X3 cam, valve springs, retainers, push rods, LG Pro long tube headers, a cold air intake, an under drive pulley, corsa sport exhaust and then tuned the PCM. He put the car on the dyno at that time and it produced 435 RWHP and 409 ft-lbs of RWTQ. He brought it back to Florida in a covered trailer about three weeks later.

I have added chrome door handles, Lloyd mats front and rear cargo area, a partition in the rear hatch area and a body colored license plate frame. Close to a garage queen, I drive it to work once a week or so. I have not taken it to the drag strip or auto cross. As part of the St. Pete Grand Prix in 2007, we participated in the corvette corral and had the chance to go on a couple of pace laps around the track. This was not racing as there were many cars in line and a pace car in front. Did the same thing last fall at Sebring. I made 4 laps during the lunch time intermission as part of the corvette corral at the nostalgia races.

It is a 3LT so it has HUD, sport seats, dual climate control CD and XM radio. It also has DVD navigation and chrome wheels. The chrome wheels are OEM rims that were chromed by a forum dealer. When I purchased the car, chrome wheels were not yet available from the factory. I have the clear top but not the solid top. I took the brake calipers off and had them powder coated by corvettepilot on the corvetteforum. At the same time I replaced the stock rotors with the Baer eradispeed+ two piece rotors (drilled and slotted)

I have taken the car in to the dealer recently for the TSB on the "service active handling" message since I have had this pop up a couple times. This TSB replaced a connector that works loose on the telescoping steering wheel. I have not had any messages since this was done. I also had them perform the TSB which replaces the lubricant in the rear end and had the engine oil changed.

There was a manufacturing defect in some of the 2006 alternators and you would see a voltage would drop at idle which would activate the “Service Charging System” message in the DIC. This was especially prevalent during hot weather. To solve this problem, I had the alternator replaced with an aftermarket alternator. The aftermarket producer takes a stock Corvette alternator, and rebuilds it with better internal components. I have not had the message reoccur since it was replaced. This work was done by RevXtreme of Bradenton, FL. They also added the high flow catalytic converters and checked the tune on the dyno.

The factory warranty will expire in December of this year. The car has 15,500 miles on it and I have the title in hand.

2006 Corvette Coupe $43,800
3LT Preferred Equipment Group $4,795
Z51 Performance Handling Package $1,695
DVD Navigation $1,600
Transparent Removable Roof $750
Lemans Blue Metallic Paint $300
Museum Delivery $490
Destination Charge $800
Total MSRP $54,230

Definitely a steal at the price. Car is immaculate when I saw it at RevXtreme's shop. Also feel in love with those rotors lol.

Good luck on the sale man. Hopefully it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

Thanks for all the positive responses guys. We all know car sales are down so we'll have to wait and see how this goes.

Not sure what I will get next but rest assured it will be a performance car and there will be mods in it's future :hehehe: Tracy said he also tunes MBs so a used CLS55 AMG might work. I would like a CLS63 AMG but the new ones are way out of my price range.

Nice car...I believe I ran next to you a few times last year on that 5 bridge run, and it sounded impressive..
