    Had thin showers just about all day long today. Only accumulated 0.16" though, so hardly worth while. Maybe more coming, but it looks like it is coming up from the southwest and not sure I will get anything from it.

    Don't remember how long it has been dry here, but it has been quite a while since I got any appreciable rain. I dug down around 7 feet with my excavator and the soil was bone dry even that deep.

    Yeah. I bought an excavator and just playing around with it, dug a hole about 7 ft. down. Dry all the way down to the bottom. I did get 0.03" today (Saturday), but that was about worthless. Hope none of my neighbors get the bright idea to burn leaves in their back yard.

    Damn. Getting right chilly out here. Just barely climbed up to 61 degrees today. Overnight low was 44 degrees. I am expecting it to get into the 30s tonight. Where the hell did the Summer go off to so quickly? And this is Florida, dammit! So act like it!

    Heck, I feel sorry for my grass. Gotten kind of crunchy. Don't need cutting just step on it and the leaves break off. Month of September total rainfall = 1.08". All in one day. Total so far for 2025 = 37.66"

    Well about time..... Got 1.08" of rain today (Friday). That is the entire total for September so far. And from the forecast, looks like that is going to be it for the month. Grass was hurting real bad. And the road became a dust bowl. When it is this dry it gets me worried about out of control...
