    Been on Sanibel Island for a month and apparently a storm knocked out the power so I couldn't get any readings from my weather station. So I have no idea how much rain I got while I was away. A friend of mine was checking on things and he said we got quite a bit of rain here for the month of June.

    Today (May 16th) the temperature gauge out in front of the garage for my weather station registered a high of 99.3 degrees.

    That storm just evaporated off of Ventusky's radar. But yeah, been very dry here too. Got a sprinkle today. Watched some big storms heading in from the west that just evaporated before getting here. Seems pretty typical for this time of year in this area.

    Been getting light rain all day today. Only 0.58" so far, but looks like more might be on the way. Had a tornado watch in effect earlier. I heard that there were a couple of touch downs close to Tallahassee.

    Yeah, some strong storms moved through today around 3:30 or so. Power went out around 4:30 and stayed out for an hour. Got 1.18" of rain.
