    Hurst 4 speed shifter

For reasons easily understood by anyone who has used either type, I am looking for a HURST shifter to replace the OEM shifter in my '75. I'll need linkage also because the OEM linkage rods are not compatible. Has anyone shopped for one recently, and if/so, where are the best prices? Thank you.

    My pool pump sucks ...

... air that is. Air is getting into the system and blowing out the return jets like crazy. I can't figure out from where. Water level is fine. I checked the o-ring at the union on the suction side of the pump (did the same at the discharge side although I'm told that shouldn't matter) and I...

    C3 4 speed shifter 1975 Replace? Rebuild?

I installed the stock shifter that was part of a conversion pkg I bought, and after the install I see it is super sloppy, so much so, that it has to be replaced, or minimally refurbished. I couldn't tell when it was out of the car, or perhaps I didn't look closely enough. With that said, I am...

Ideas on asking price TH400 1975

After the swap from auto to manual is complete I will be looking to sell my TH400. I'm not sure if I should sell it as a package with the shifter, shifter plate, etc., or sell the tranny separate from the rest. Any thoughts on a price and strategy? Thanks.

Old School Machine Shop right under my nose

I needed my flywheel freshened-up, so I asked around within my car-guy network for a machine shop, and the name Terry came up. Not once but twice, and by two different friends. Terry is the owner of Max Power Automotive Machine Shop in Bunnell, FL. This place is a find, and worth the trip even...
