    Temp came up

    Went to bed around 10pm and the temp was 28, woke up this morning at 5:30 and the temp was 35. Seems the wind picked up and cold air clouds off the gulf saved us from having lower 20's.

    Backed out of the garage this morning to go to Antivenom and sleet was hitting my hood. Been around 33 to 37 all day.

    Cold temps staying

    Looks like we will have a string of about 11 days of very cold weather. This is very rare to see highs in the 50's and lows in the 30 for more than 3 days at a time. It may warm up to around 63 on thurs before the next front.

    A wet December

    Looks like it's started out to be a wet month so far. Had about 4" last week and another near 4" of rain today. I remember Dec of 1997 we had about 17" of rain in Tampa.

    Cold today

    It's been kinda cold the last two days with highs in the 50's and cloudy. Ended up with about 4" rain since Friday.

    Hot weather

    What a week! High Thurs was 95 in the Tampa area and all week highs have been around 89 to 95. Never in my life have i seen temps this high late in OCT.

    May buy a V8 colorado

    Called my local dealer about a new 0/10 V8 crewcab. The price is about $27,500. I would be trading my 08 regcab 3.7. Seems you have to get the 3LT package with the ZQ8 sport and it comes with a 3:42 rear gear. Guess i will go down to the dealer on Saturday and see what kind of deal i can get...

    10"+ of rain today

    What a soaker today! I guess it started raining about 330am this morning since it woke me up. I had 7" of rain at 630am, so in about 3 hours time we had 7". Then add another 3"+ and it's still raining. We had 3" on Tuse and 10"+ today. Kinda looks like last July when i had over 20" for the...

    8 days of rain

    This has been one wet May! It has rained 8 days in a row. Most Mays are very dry since we have high pressure dead locked on top of us. The last real wet May i remeber was in 1979 when we got about 17" of rain in two days. So far i have had about 9" of rain since last Friday.

    This has been one cold winter! The last time it was just cold was the winter of 95 and 96. Looks like it will be a heck of a fire season from all the dead stuff and no rain.

    Cold November

    This has been one of the coldest Novemebers i remember in over 25 years. Seems the winter will be colder than normal thru Jan, then somewhat warmer and wetter than normal the last half.

    10" of rain in 18 hours

    Heavy rain

    Really got a good soaking this weekend! Had .75" Sat night and so far today over 3.5" or rain. We had alot of lift in the upper levels, this is something you don't see much in Apirl.

    over a 1" of rain

    I had over a inch of rain on Friday, a long slow light rain for 10 hours. So far we are doing pretty good this winter on rainfall. Had over 7" in Dec, 5.5" in Jan, 2" in Feb and over 3.5 so far in March. Sure beats the last two winters!

    About what is the normal price of a used LS1 engine complete going for? I've seen used LS2's for around 3 to 4K. I have a crazy idea of doing a LS swap of some kind for my new truck. :dancer01:

    Bought a Colorado

    Got me a new 08 Colorado about 12 days ago. It's a regcab with the 3.7 5 cly inline engine, and A4 trans. Just bought some used 18" Xtreme rims with Goodyear 18-50-235 tires, got them for a steel and they are like new. Anything is better than the stock steel 15" rims. Maybe one day you guys...
