Still no rain but a good bit of smoke in South Georgia along I-75 early Friday morning on the trip down this week. Looks like chances are improving but, we'll see. And I hear another cold front is coming down next weekend, so maybe that will shake some rain out of the sky!- 85vette

I might try that. We got an inch of rain along with half inch hail yesterday from an impromptu thunderstorm. And we also got about 30 cows in the yard from them breaking my neighbor's fence! My cameras sent me an alert and when I looked, a herd of cows! I wasn't at home so I called the sheriff's...- 85vette

We moved up here to Georgia a little over five years ago. Since then the Winters have been colder than normal and the first winter it got down to 15 degrees. It killed the Satsuma tree. Just under a half inch up here, but it appears a tornado may have skipped over the house. We weren't home, but one of our sons and his family are staying with us and he said the whole house shook around 0530 Thursday morning!
