I'd get some carpet strips, you can find the low pile, industrial type carpet at Lowes or Home Depot and can cut it in strips depending on tire width to be the length of the car or just put down some squares that are just where you park the car so it only is under the contact patch.

this shouldn't be too expensive and the industrial low pile carpet should last a long time.

you could even glue it down if you didn't want it to move when turning the wheels.

for that matter you can buy carpet that is in squares, either 12"x12" of 16"x16" that have adhesive backing that you could use, Home Depot sells it and it is very inexpensive.
