Howdy Folks!

Howdy from Vilano Beach, FL!

I've been on the corvetteforums for 7 years, Z06forums for 3 - got an invite to the new Florida forums and figured I'd come over and check it out!

I'm on my 4th Vette, a Millennium Yellow '03 Z06 - some exterior mods (BPP hood, SW rear fascia), some interior goodies (Caravaggio race seats, BK bar/lap kit, VE stuff) and a few tweaks performance-wise (LT's, intake, tuning).

I was semi on deck for a new Z06 - though I wasn't willing to pay over list - then I figured since I'm so prone to modifications, I might as well keep what I've and get crazy (my last craziness was a ++highly++ modified Supra, said I wouldn't do that again, guess I was wrong :rofl1: )

TT's are planned for the future - doing a minitub 19/20" wheel, BBK thing currently.

I do some road racing via DE events - mainly run Roebling and Sebring, though in the past I've been to Road ATL, Summit Point and CMP.

I'm married to an incredible woman who actually *encourages* me at my car hobby (her idea for NCM pickup, her idea to keep the current car and go nuts with mods).

We work out of the house here in beautiful Vilano Beach - so it's off to the beach (across the street) for some skimboarding or intracoastal boating since we can close the "office" when we want (not all fun~n~games, some weeks are killer 80+ hours).

I see plenty of Vettes in the area - always make sure to wave - if you don't wave back I just keep making it bigger AND BIGGER - we have been known to perform the highly complex double out the window double arm wave as needed (and don't make me chase you down...).

Look forward to contributing to "our own" Florida forum!

BTW...

Are we doing avatars and/or sigs? I have both didn't know if they were turned off or you needed a minimum post count (?)

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum [DT]. Things are a little quite today as ther are several events going on in FL.. I started with The First Annual Poker Run this morning @ Corvette's West in Sarasota, but had to drop out, come home and finish some reports that have to be out in the morning.
Anyway, good to see you here......stay tuned.............Tom :welcome:

:welcome: to the club. Glad to see you here.

As for your questions, there aren't too many restrictions here beyone just good taste and being reasonable. The only times I have had to contact anyone was when they used a really large pic or three in their signature area.

But beyond that, just having fun is the rule here.

Oh and posting pics is pretty much a requirement. EVERYONE loves the eye candy, so check out the Photo Gallery here and make ample use of it.

Take care.

:wavey: Welcome to the forum. I have both aviator and sig filled out as well and they don't show up. Must be turned off.

Another place to hang out once in awhile but we're all Florida owners. Let others know when there's show or gathering in your area, maybe someone who didn't know about the event can join in.

Excellent! Thanks for the welcome!

I'll get some pics uploaded the gallery area - and spend some time in the other sub-forums. Florida is a such a great Corvette owning state - we have year usage - heck even the Vert owners can use them at least 10 months out of the year :D

Lots of cruise-ins and whatnot in the area - we'll have to coordinate something around here, or we can hook up with folks in Daytona (<1 hour away) or Orlando (< 2 hours away).
