My take on the difference between liberals and conservatives

Here's my thoughts on the subject.

Liberals want to ensure that no one gets born if they can help it. But once someone actually gets born, they want to keep them alive no matter what terrible the crime they commit.

Conservatives want to ensure that you are born, no matter what, but as soon as you commit a crime, they want to have you killed on the spot.

I think I'm somewhere in the middle. :yesnod:

That's where we all should be. In the middle.

Charles Manson comes to mind.....

I guess I must be ultra conservative because on the spot is not quick enough for some criminals....

Now I'm confused. That guy should have been killed several times. Maybe I'm middle of the road when it's convenient. :shrug01:

You remember a few years ago when that guy killed the deputy and wounded the other and they found him under a brush pile? I think they shot him 86 times. I think it should have been 186 times.

If there were no cameras around, they could have caulked his death up the "The worst case of suicide they had ever seen." :hehehe:

A lot of times I think cops must have a lot of restraint. Many people just need to be killed and not even make it into our court system. I know we have some officers in this forum that will disagree with me but that's how I feel.

Cops DO have a lot of restraint, and I applaud them for it. I'm sure the wildest police videos we see on TV don't represent a tenth of what LEO's go through day to day. As much as someone may deserve to die, we can't simply go back to the days when people were lynched on the spot and the posse went on their merry way. The justice system is far from perfect, that's no secret. But it has to be given the chance to work or the whole thing breaks down. And I for one would not like to see that happen.:nonod:
