Looking For Advice

I race a stock C5, A4. I tune it myself but I have never started at scratch and gone completely through it all. My car runs so consistent I am reluctant to make too many changes.

I have installed a Blackwing and 3:42 gears. I have adjusted the shift points and disabled Torque Mamagement. I have adjusted the injector flow rate to get my fuel trims zeroed out. I know that's a shortcut but it works.

I have scanned this car many times at the strip and the timing bothers me. But, like I said the car is consistent. At the initial hit of the throttle the timing drops to 2 deg total and then immediately picks back up. I don't have a clue what is causing this because I have triple checked everything. Should I add timing or leave it alone? :shrug01:

de-sensetize the knock sensors a bit to see if that eliminates it. Also, copy & paste the high octaine tables to the low octaine if you always use 93 so there is no switching between them to keep consistant.

Thanks Tracy. The low octane table already matches the high octane. How do I de-sensitive the sensors?
