Cruisin' The Coast

I am spending most of my spare time getting my old '81 ready to make the annual Cruisin' the Coast on the MS Gulf Coast in October. Is there anyone else going and/or showing their Corvette? I am from South MS and seen it many times, but this will be the first time I will participate. Last year I think they had over 2500 cars. Its something to see.

Thanks.

Carl

This is the first I have heard of it. If you (or someone) will post something in the Events and Shows section and/or the calendar, with links to their webpage, maybe some of us will be interested.

Achhh, none of my cars qualify to register. Must be 25 years old or older.... :shrug01:

But still, Rich............... it might be a very nice "take" for you and Connie just to go and see it.
Less than 350 miles from your place to Biloxi, MS and less than 6 hours. Go for a couple of
days and enjoy the cars, each other, and life! :yesnod: Been to the Mississippi Gulf Coast
and found it to be a very beautiful place, and that was AFTER Katrina. We saw the area when
we went to Louisiana for my brother's funeral in March, 2011 and decide to do a little sight seeing
after that was over.

Before I moved to FL, my favorite MS summer thing was to take off the t-tops and drive from one end of the beach to the other and back. There are 29 miles of beach in MS from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs. I can't wait to do that again in a few weeks. I miss those moments with the salt air in my face.

You could still be in most of the stuff going on except the special parking. Its more casual than you might think, friendlier than a lot of car events I have been to.
