• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Corvette Newb...
I just got a C5 Corvette with just over 104K miles and I am looking for a new forum to call home. Recently moved to Florida and I am enjoying the tropical weather compared to Iowa, especially now. So far my plan for my new beauty is to build a nice GT car that can take on light track days and go for cruise nights here in Florida.

:welcome:

Welcome to the site!

Yeah, I would imagine the weather here is quite different from what you are used to in Iowa.

We'll try to help you all we can with whatever modifications you have in mind.

But post up some pics so we can take a look at what you have right now.

Hey jarhead0261, welcome to the forum! Hope you have a bunch of
fun with your new ride. The great folks on this site REALLY like to see pictures,
so if you have any, post them up! With a handle like jarhead0261, I'm assuming
that you're a current or former Marine. I spent 1966 thru 1970 in Uncle Sam's Army. Jump in with both feet, and tell us a little more about yourself and your ride.

Ding Ding Ding... We have a winner.

I also got my Bachelor's Degree and now play "Where's Waldo" with pixels as I travel across the world from my cubicle in the Vault. I haven't had a chance to wash and wax my Corvette yet, but I am yearning to do so. I hate adult responsibilities sometimes.
