Yeah, it does make you realize how much at the mercy you are of all the drivers around you making sound decisions. Or being a victim of just plain old bad luck, being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

As it is, I feel uneasy riding my MC, and to make matters worse, my 1st born will be driving the roads ON HIS OWN soon! :bang:
 
Yeah.........and all of that crap happens in the blink of an eye. The one where
the chunk of something hits the windshield, doesn't even give you time to react

Goes to show, no matter how good a driver you may be(or THINK you may be), some things are unavoidable. What's that saying? Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.....
