No doubt. I saw a guy do that at the track with a brand new Viper one time. It was still driveable but the poor guy was so embarrassed that he drove right through the pits and out the gate.

I saw one even more embarrassing when I raced at Pecan Park Raceway in Jacksonville. A guy with a '69 Mustang did a big burnout before staging and I guess he thought he had the whole track to himself. After the burnout he backed up all the way into the burnout box again, backing into an Olds 442 that was next in line! After almost getting his a$$ kicked by the driver of the Olds, he was disqualified and sent home. I don't know if the guy in the Olds got his DL info or not but I'm sure he would have a hard time trying to collect on insurance given the location of the "accident"!! They put mirrors on cars for a reason. Glad it wasn't me behind him.
