Hi all,

I'm in the market for a C5. Just started my research, been reading stickies here and other Corvette sites. I'm an automotive idiot, but not a complete idiot, and I've owned an older BMW M3 and BMW 545 in the past and learned so much from those forums that I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I live in South Florida but grew up in Michigan. I miss the American Muscle. I currently drive a Honda Pilot that's paid for and I'm looking for a new toy/hobby
and I'm in love with the C5 for it's performance, style, and affordability.

Again, being the automotive ignorant that I am... I would appreciate the opportunity to contact or meet any persons in my area that would be interested in sharing their knowledge, helping me evaluate a potential purchase, or recommend a reputable mechanic.

The C5 is a nice platform for mods and a nice ride in it's own right. Just set your goals for what you want and then have patience. The right one will come along sooner or later.
