No valid disk loaded

2010 cd player shows “disk unrecognized” when cd is inserted. Tried compressed air, still have the problem. Correction, error reads “no valid disk loaded”

If it does it for every CD you try, then I'm afraid that your player just might have given up the ghost on you. Things break, unfortunately.
