quite a list. i'd keep an eye on the PFADT stuff. read too many posts about the sway bars breaking.

PFADT went bankrupt and Afe owns them now.

HAH! Serves Pfadt right after the way they handled that issue with the too long carbon fiber drive shaft they sent me. If they hadn't had CorvetteForum running interference for them by locking threads telling the truth about their products, they likely would have gone belly up a lot sooner.

Good riddance, I say.

And yeah, I'll keep an eye on those sway bars too.

Updated the list with the following:

  1. Hinson 3/8s inch short urethane motor mounts
  2. AntiVenom transmission shifter detent mod
  3. ACDelco reman starter with 2 long bolt mounting flanges.

Heck of a list. You can save space by writing what mods you DON'T have.

How do you like the MGW shifter? Is all the hype about it true?

Well, I like the shifter, and have to say it's better than other models I have tried. Very smooth and precise shifting as long as you do your part correctly.

I understand that MGW has a new version out since I bought mine. I believe it also comes with a custom lower box as well.

Shifting IS stiffer than what I have in the stock shifting C6 Z06, especially getting it into reverse. But that just might be because I am becoming a feeble old man, and no reflection on the shifter itself... :hehehe:

If I needed to buy another shifter, I would certainly buy this one.

I also have the MGW shifter.. I have had it for at least a couple years. Shifting is precise if you make sure and pay attention. Going in to reverse is a bit difficult, and from 4th to 5th can be a bit tricky. I have found myself going back into 3rd on occasion ...but it is much better than the stock shifter....

Well, I'm glad it's not just me getting feeble...... :D

BTW, the AntiVenom transmission shifter detent mod did help a bit. Some people suggested using two washers, but I just went with one. Maybe should have tried two, but I was concerned that the transmission might pop out of gear on occasion.

Updated the mod list to reflect the new Monster triple disk installation.
