C7

Got the new 2021 LT1 Camaro today. Runs darn good. No more big time lag like my 2019 C7 had and the same performance exhaust sounds much better than the C7 did.

I must have had a bum C7 all the way around.

Awesome! Is that with the 10 speed automatic, or is that the only automatic offered now? I see you can still get a 6 speed on the Camaro. Can't do that anymore with the Cadillac CTS V, but 2019 was the last year of production for them anyway, unless they revive it in the future. Not likely though, as production numbers never really took off. The only made 2461 in the original introduction year (which mine was) and it didn't get a lot better. Pricing was a bit steep if you ask me. The 2004 model was $50,000 but when I looked at one on the showroom floor in 2018 it was optioned out with a $100,800 window sticker! Beautiful car, but not in my budget at the time. Post some pics!

Yeah, sure seems like something was wrong with that C7. Damn shame that GM seems to be fumbling the ball on the Corvettes lately in the quality control department. Like I've said before, no way I would even consider buying a C8, all things considered. Sharp looking car, but who the heck needs an expensive headache? And buying one out of warranty? Not on your life.... My pockets are nowhere near deep enough to want to be paying out of pocket when issues show up. I'm really not all that keen about the torque tube design in the earlier generations, truth be known. Damn $1.5K+ for labor just to replace a $10 pilot bearing.... Sheesh....

It has the A10 auto trans. I would never touch a car with the 8 speed auto. This new 10 speed is locked out, so no way to ever tune it.

I think the day is coming everything will be locked from tuning.
