Love bugs

Yeah, I heard that rumor about UFL as well. Something to the effect that they were imported as an experiment in mosquito control or something. :shrug01:
 
here they are, its slowing down now there arent nearly as many roosting on my car

I have lived in Florida practically all of my life (Pompano Beach, Jacksonville, and the Talahassee area). I don't recall seeing love bugs until the late 1970's and early 1980's in north Florida. I left Pompano in 1970 so I don't know when they started to be an issue there.
