Joyce and I will be arriving sometime late afternoon on Saturday August 5th. It appears that one other couple will be coming with us. The husband will be driving down with us in there 02 Magnetic Red Lingenfelter vert, and the wife will be flying down to meet us. She is awaiting surgery on her back and could not take the two day drive down in the Corvette. But she is a gamer and is disappointed about missing the drive down.

Andy and I would be happy to join you and Joyce and your other couple, along with Linda and Robert (and any others) while you are in Ft. Myers. We are all a great group of Vetters. As Linda mentioned, there are a lot of people who are members of more than one Vette club. We'll look forward to getting together with you in Aug. (GO, BLUE!)

Joyce and I, and Rick and Patti are currently in the Bel Air Corvette Club, which is part of the East Region. I would love to show my friends how hospitible the Corvette owners from the SW side of Florida truely are! So, anything would be great. We are willing to cruise to a restaurant or anything like that, where there is a little air conditioning and we can talk with you guys. We really enjoyed doing this with Linda and Robert, Harold and Peggy, and Tom and uh, ....whatshername. :sillyme: OK, so I am still working on the training thing!

Barb, I see you've got a registration for your show in October. Als2052 is from our club. You probably met him and Karen on the poker run last week.
You know Robert and I will be there. There's talk about making this a club event if I'm not mistaken :thumbsup:

I just got the flyer for that show at the Corvettes of Naples meeting Thursday night. Looking forward to that one, everyone says that is a good show, also hurricane season will be almost over:dancer01:

Alan, I figured you must be from the Naples club. You probably knew Harvey & Lana Waltzer. Harvey was a dear friend of ours. We will be spending a day or two with Lana at her new home near Asheville, NC, on our way up to the NCM 12th anniversary party over Labor Day weekend! Try to make it on Sunday!

He will get a lot of attention, it is a beauty. I am almost caught up. I am still in West Palm Beach untill Sunday.
 
Wanted to give this a bump up. This show is later this month and brings out a lot of vettes and chevy cars. Hope to see some of the local folks from this forum there :yesnod:
 
I printed off the registration form last night for both vettes. I wondered about the confirmation since we weren't sending it directly to the club.
 
Premium car shows have never sent me a confirmation. I guess you just see it on your credit card statement. I am looking forward to meeting some of you people.
