Hey Rich, I spotted that the weather map was from wsi.com.
Are you a paying member or is this free? I went to the site but couldn't figure how to get it.

Not seeing nearly the mosquitos around here we had in the spring. Got the mosquito magnets still working, but they aren't catching much. Found some wigglers in some pots with water in them, so I threw them into the sand in full sun to let them bake.

Heard some rumbling to the west this evening, but we didn't get any rain at all. I think it's something like a 60 percent chance on Thursday, though...

I love this rain, it cleans my car for me. Plus it gives me an excuse to be late to class haha. I nearly slipped a biscuit before class when i saw florida 75% covered with green an yellow masses. youd think it was hurricane season or something.

They've got it listed as a tropical storm (Cristobal) now that it is over on the Atlantic side. I think if it had progressed further out into the Gulf we would have had a problem. The Gulf is likely MUCH warmer than the Atlantic.

The storm is pretty close to the gulf stream, so the water temps are on the warm side.
