Seems the Wake County (North Carolina) Sheriff's Department has a new weapon for police duty.

Just added to their crime busting prowess, in the vehicle department, is a 2007 Corvette Z06! :yesnod:

The vehicle, seized in a drug bust, was awarded to the department by the NC court system. Its reported the vehicle will retain its factory skin, and only modified to have the usual dash and rear mounted blue flashing lights. :thumbsup:

The Corvette will patrol Interstate 40.

Is there a trip to NC in the future for SHADOW? :hehehe:
