Yeah, my brother had Prorated, err, Progressive. He got hit by an unlicensed 14 year old that pulled out into him from the side of the road, but Progressive claimed my brother was 30% at fault because he made an evasive manuever?!? (the other vehicle was insured by them also) My brother was not cited. Go figure. They wouldn't settle up with him for the full value of his truck and he wouldn't take the check they were offering. Two years later, they finally gave him the full amount. The games these insurance companies play.

am paying in Maine for insurance. The registration is much cheaper in Fla, but
the total costs of putting it on the road are still way above Maine. That is

I had really low coverage on my 98 SS Camaro and was paying almost $1800 a year through Progressive. I went through AAA as an agent and Travelers Insurance gave me 100/300 for $900 a year. My wife pays almost the same on her 96 Camry!
