Ray, Me too! When I see a Vette, especially a blue midyear with mags............

the teenager comes out in me again, and I'M READY TO GO! I used to be one of those "I don't own a vette, but I love them" lookers, and NOW......I'm one of those "I own a vette and still love them" lookers.

About the age of 5 to 6, I seem to remember that Fire trucks got my attention and I wanted to hear that siren!

About the age of 7 to 8, I really started to notice the different types of big trucks and yes I wanted to hear them lean on the air horn!

About the age of 9 to 10, I started to notice trains, and was more interested in the passenger type because of the speed, and of course the air horn that they blew going through a train crossing!

About the age of 11 to 12, I got my first introduction to a Corvette. My oldest brother bought a '57 and I was in heaven!

I really thought there would be nothing that impressed me more, until I got to the age of 13. Then I started to notice my older sisters friends. They were about 18 and I remember one in particular came to the house in a tank top (I am not sure they called them that back then) and bra-less. OMG, the fire truck, the dump trucks, the trains, and the Vettes could have gone by at the same time, revving their engines and blowing their horns and I don't think I would have noticed!

Yea, I think back to those times and I have to admit, I am STILL a kid at heart! Yes sir, fire trucks, big rigs, trains, Vettes and bra-less women in tank tops still get my attention!
Well said!

Hey RAY, I saw you losing it on the ball field. Why didn't you take the first base also?

That's very cool Ray. You may have just met a future Corvette owner.

Built a model of a 77 when I was teenager...took my time...paid attention to detail, 4 coats of paint. Been hooked ever since.
