Rich it sounds like you need to hire a good construction inspector.

I have followed your progress and things are going pretty well. I
would do somethings differently but it is your project.
When you finish, would list some of your DO AND DON'TS and how
you would tackle your next project.
I have built several homes and the learning curve is steep when
your paying the bill. Good luck with what's left.

Well, I got another delay in delivery of the building to 11/11 so everything will show up here together at the same time. Finding another erector wasn't as tough as I had thought, because apparently everyone is hungry for work. So I'm going to get the guy by the name of Mike Nichols who does work for PSBI to do the erection.
This may work out much better for me on another front because I was afraid the 11/04 date was going to conflict with my drivetrain replacement at Xtreme that just started today and likely won't be finished by that previous delivery date. I wouldn't have been comfortable leaving the site here with the building erection taking place, yet I would have severely hated to miss the later parts of the drivetrain stuff on my car. I probably would have just burst into flames trying to decide one over the other.....
This certainly works out better, although it does delay the completion of the building again. I'll still have the apron to get put down when the erection is done plus call in electricians to do the electrical work I want. Probably won't be until Christmas before I will actually be able to drive the cars into the garage.
As for the "DO" and "DON'T" aspects, yeah, I'll have to look at this in retrospect when it's all over with. See how much money I saved doing the contracting myself as opposed to just handing this off to a contractor. There is definitely a "headache factor" to take into account with this sort of thing.

OK, so today is the DAY. The truck with the steel showed up a little before 7:30am this morning, and I'm waiting on the erectors to show up. It's now 9:00am.
A light drizzle that seems fitting for my mood. So much for keeping the steel dry. Not that it would have mattered anyway, as the truck is an open flat bed, so I'm sure everything got soaked on the way down here from Georgia anyway.
But at least it's not pouring down raining.
I need a "twiddling my thumbs" smiley here......
