Yellow flies...

It's the time of year for these "teeth with wings" again.

I had hoped the drought would have killed them off, but I think it just made them thirstier for blood.

Are you still using those mosquito magnets?

Yes, I have one hooked up, that is catching mosquitos, but so far I haven't seen any yellow flies in it. It normally will work pretty well on them, however, so maybe it will do better as the season heats up.

I live on the gulf with salt marshes around and once in a while just before sundown i will see a yellow fly.
