Default 700r4 tranny wiring

I'm putting in a 700r4 tranny. I contacted Bowtieoverdrives, and spoke with them concerning wiring stuff. They told me I needed a kit from them, that included an internal wiring connection, as well as the external connection. I have checked on line at "wiring diagrams for 700r4's" and found many easy to do diagrams. BUT, no one has mentioned the need to do any internal wiring. Sooooo, are the folks at Bowtie trying to sell me something I don't need? Do not all 700r4's come with the internal wiring they are speaking of, since guys on the web never mention the need for such?

PS - anyone ever remove and relocate their tranny mounting bracket, back about the 3 inches needed for the 700r4? This would save about 200.00 bucks as well. Thanks

The only wiring is for the converter lockup and it's already there.

Default 700r4

OK, so the only thing I need is the wiring from the brake light switch to the plug on the outside of the tranny, right? Because the wiring in the tranny is there... right? Thanks
