Default Basic brakes......

Are C3 brakes self adjusting in reverse? My new girl has non power brakes but they go nearly to the floor and if I apply enough pressure I get the ole "brake light on the dash". Fluid level is right and evenly distributed between both halves. No fluid is down at all. Just seems smart to start with the simplest things first prior to pulling a wheel and inspecting pads and rotors.

No such thing as self adjusting disc brakes. They just take up the slack on their own. If the pedal is going down to the floor, suspect the master cylinder as the culprit. But first, do a full system bleed. Could just be air in the system.
