During the national anthem or presenting of the flag, I also feel the need to grab my junk out of patriotism.:usa_flag:
 
Check out the source and verify the photos. For national anthems and flag ceremonies the protocol is to salute. But if the president is being introduced during Hail to the Chief then he does not and he takes the stage last. The military officers and civilians must be present before the the president's entrance and at full salute during Hail to the Chief.

So what was happening in this photo is the military and civilans were saluting the president's entrance.

Anyone know when and where this took place? Any video?

It doesn't appear he's moving anywhere to me.
I realize he could be in his place and simply waiting for the music to end to be seated?
