Road Trip!
For your 05 & 06 owners looking to replace your batteries in the near future, here is some information you may find useful:
1.There are 3 battery manufacturers out there: Delphi (AC Delco, Everstart), Exide (Exide, Champion, NAPA) and Johnson Controls (Duralast, Autocraft, DieHard, Motorcraft, Interstate)
2. Local Chevy Dealer in Cape Coral wants $195 to replace your AC Delco ($130 for battery and $65 for labor).
3. McAllistairs Auto Repair in Ft Myers (239-334-1986) charges $107 + $5 disposal +tax
I installed battery myself in less than 30 minutes on my 05 and saved just under $100 which can go toward mods later.
Only reset required was was seats, side mirrors and window indexing.
Now I am good for the next 3-4 years.
