Past wek-end, Bon and I stopped by Courtsey Chevrolet and got the close up and feel of the new Grand Sport Corvette.
They had a Beautiful Cyber Gray w/ Gray wheels, Red and I guess jet blue .
Mixed feeling's, as they too closley resemble the Z06, but have the Base engines.:shrug01:

Debbie and I looked at the Grand Sport also and wish we had not gotten the "Z06" and waited. You take a Grand Sport, load it up with options, you get a T-top which we like alot.....Then put a ProCharger on it and you get around 565 HP. We still would have been cheaper than my $70,000.00 "Z06", which really only cost me...$63,000.00, plus $10k in a PC. I really do like the look of the "GS".....oh well!!!

Back @ you Mark!!

I like the look of the GS a lot but would also prefer different wheels.:yesnod:

I agree 100%. They captured the Brakes off the Z06, so why not steal the wheels too!!.....my upgraded rids would have been sweet!!!!:yesnod:

I would think that GM really put a hurt on Z06 sales with this offering.

I still believe they should have kept them all blue like the 96 model GS, and kept a stripe down the middle. Keep the tradition going. There's almost too many different Vette models (styles) out there, kind of like the Mustank.

I heard with the manual tranny there is a bigger HP package. I agree with Z06rocket should have kept it blue with white stripe:thumbsup:

Luckily, I think the Vette has a long way to go before it reaches this amount of ridiculousness. The Grand Sport in my opinion was a great idea, but should have came out along with the Z06. I know a lot of people wanted the vert.

The GS has pretty much everything the 6 does minus the aluminum frame, I personally like the wheels as well. Although nothing compares to a black C6 zo6 with those dark rims.
