An actual letter from an Iowa resident and sent to his senator:

I think we should all apply for illegal status!!!

Maybe some Americans are finally waking up to the very serious problem we have with these unlawfuls breaking into our country and stealing us blind!!

Well, it is not so bad to think that the general public may be clueless about these sorts of issues, but NOT our representatives in Congress! They should KNOW what is going on and be taking steps to protect US, their constituents from excessive and unwarranted burdens.

I have never had a problem with someone wanting to come to this country because they view it as an opportunity to make something of themselves that was not possible in their own country. But for someone to flaunt our laws right off the bat by coming here illegally and then making demands for the perks of citizenship without actually earning them, well yes, I do have a problem with that.

And of course, the question needs to be asked: Why is Mexico so keen to have the border erased? Why do they want an unfettered corridor to allow their people access to leave their country?

Rich I agree some Americans are cluelesswhen it comes to this subject. And then there are others that condone this behavior. Whatever the case we all have to try and do something to correct it.Write and call your senators and represenatives and tell them you want it stopped. The border needs to be protected...

I sent this to my friend in Burlington, Ia. and he knew the author.
He's a retired Highway Patrolman

It seems like the illegals are thinnig out a little bit here in Florida, I hope so.
I wonder what lucky state is getting them now? I'm sure it is not as easy to go south across the border as it is to come north! So they are not going home.

Nahhh, no thinning out here....

Nope, no shortage of illegals in Florida...if anything, an increase is being 'felt'!:NoNo:

And, I still wear my "Welcome to America, NOW SPEAK ENGLISH" t-shirt! :hehehe:

Way cool letter!

I've dressed it up a little and have sent it out to all known friends, family and/or relatives...all legal!! :hehehe:

I think a good start to becoming an illegal would be to rip up my social security card, run around saying no speaka de englay and go to Bank of America and get a credit card. If it doesn't do it it would be a great start! Oh yea one more thing bread like rats and expect the local Emergency room to perform well baby exams on my litter!

It looks like some of them are thinning out.. I don't know where they are going, I hope it is back home, but I doubt it!

They seam to a be coming to Jacksonville I can't go anywhere with out stepping on the little short $h#ts or dumb look if you speak to them in english.

Maybe if we get them in Jax they will find I-10 west and take it! I sure as f$$$ hope so I am sick and tired of the little bast$$$ I know that. They won't even try to learn the language or fit in, not that I want them anyway but they could try!

That just makes you look ignorant. An accurate exclamation would be "Welcome to the United States, NOW SPEAK ENGLISH!"

The majority of "America" speaks Castillian which is a form of Spanish. America(s) is/are a continent(s), not a country.

I agree that sh!! does get old. I am going to stay on all of them I find until I get something done with them.. I am sick and tired of thier filthy ways of living and not trying to fit in and do the right thing! They have broken the law by just coming over the border, they need to go!:banghead:

I'm almost with ya, but here is the big but, crossing the border is a "civil" infraction, not a "legal" infracton. Basically, all that can be done if give them a ticket, like a traffic ticket. Sucks doesn't it!
